The UK post-study work (PSW) visa permits students to stay back in the UK for two years and seek employment opportunities after finishing their studies.
Also, w.e.f. September 2020, international students on a Tier 4 visa will have access to the upgraded graduate path. The visa Tier 4 visa would be extended to all international students who have a valid UK immigration status as a student and have completed their undergraduate or higher education studies at an accredited UK Higher Education Provider in any subject matter.
The visa would enable all eligible international applicants to either work or seek employment opportunities in their field of interest for 2 years after successfully pursuing their studies.
This helps the UK to draw in and harbor global talents and intellects and enables it to open doors to budding career opportunities in fields of science, technology, innovation, and other leading domains to nurture the global talent and potential of international students.
Students would be able to progress on to the professional work visa after the two years if they find a suitable job that fits the route’s skill criteria.

Tier 2 general work visa
You can apply for a Tier 2(General Visa) if you have been offered a skillful job in the UK or you are from outside the European Economic Area and Switzerland. You need to be employed by a license sponsor to apply to live in the UK. Your sponsor checks that you can do job that they are hiring for and if it qualifies you for a visa. They will provide a certificate of sponsorship to prove this. They must also give you any other information when you apply for example how much you will be paid. The earliest you can apply for a visa is 3 months before you’re due to start work in the UK. The date you can start is listed on your certificate of sponsorship.
You should get a decision on your visa within 3 weeks when you apply from outside the UK.
Tier 5 internship visa option
You can apply for a Tier 5 (Youth Mobility Scheme) visa if you want to live and work in the UK for up to 2 years are aged 18 to 30 have £1,890 in savings. You are eligible if you belong to

You’ll be given a visa to live and work in the UK for up to 24 months. You can enter the UK at any time while your visa is valid, and leave and come back at any time during your stay. If you turn 31 while you’re in the UK, you can stay for as long as your visa is valid.
