Program and Curriculum
The Kellogg MSMS is designed for students who have recently completed their undergraduate degrees at Northwestern University and who have limited full-time work experience. If an applicant has more than 1 year of full-time work experience (excluding internships and summer jobs) by the enrollment date they are ineligible to apply. The curriculum does not assume significant work experience and offers a broad exposure to management topics over one academic year.

Kellogg school of management is the first Business institution in the world to have admitted applicants via interview to establish their suitability and leadership skill set. The faculty of Kellogg comprises of learned scholars and researchers who amalgamate their real world experience into the classroom training sessions. Kellogg’s Career Management Center helps students draw up a career plan, evolve job-search strategies, and connect with recruiters.
The school makes excellent well rounded business professionals by using various teaching methods like the case studies, simulations, field exploring and seminars to give an authentic learning.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the Kellogg School of Management’s MS in Management Studies Program, applicants must be currently attending Northwestern University with plans to graduate by June 2020, or have graduated from Northwestern during the 2018-2019 academic year. Candidates with greater than one year of work experience are encouraged to explore our MBA options.

Kellogg MSMS Essays
Essay 1 (500 words)
Pursuing a Master’s in Management is a big decision. Walk us through your decision to apply to Kellogg’s MS in Management Studies program, and what you’ve learned about yourself throughout your decision making and application process.
Essay 2 (300 words)
Kellogg fosters a collaborative community of learners who support each other through the rigorous MSMS coursework, and in their endeavors outside of the classroom. Tell us about an experience where you worked within a team or community to navigate a challenge or make a difficult decision.
Video Essay(Est.20-25 minutes)
After submitting an application, you will receive an email that will include directions on how to complete the video essay questions. One question will be a “get to know you” icebreaker type of question. The second question will be an opportunity to describe your plans for the future and how Kellogg will help you on that journey. The other questions will be randomly generated questions that will be similar to interview questions.
